Goal being to reduce trucks getting stuck holding resources when quick building.

As the title. Waste to steam would be killer, and has real world precedent. But my biggest issue is being unable to process exhaust gas.

When a truck goes somewhere to pick up diesel as cargo it should also fill up the tank instead of driving on with an almost emty tank. That's what every driver whould do.
