DyanosisThis makes sense in a colony sim where "needs of the people" includes clothing. Especially on an island. Though I feel like cotton is a way over done idea in video games. Every game with clothing ever has gotten as a produced material and then made into clothing. I know it models real life, but it's overdone.
Linen would make more sense due to its longevity over cotton, underused idea in games (since cotton is more commonly known), and is highly versatile and works right into their farming concept.

funky68Cotton can be an excelent addition but i think Sheep Husbandry is much better. You can get wool, meat and milk. Wool can be use to make households like curtains carpets etc or clothing for people. Milk can be use as meterial to make cheese or can be use as food. And some buff to meat too. And an extra way to get rid of animal weed.
