I think adding a late game research option to have "oar stacker/reclaimer" will be cool. This item can receive oar deposits from a mine and stage them in a laydown area. A large boom mechanism will shovel up needed oar for the called demand automatically without needing additional excavators and trucks. Below is a link to a coal power plant operation for example.
