Deletion of Saves in Game

Would the possibility of deleting saves within the game be too much of an issue? I am aware where the files are. However, thought it might be useful if this could be available at some point.

Isn't this already available from the load game menu?

would be better if all saves were grouped so when you have multiple games going you can identify easier which to delete and keep
