A way to turn off the alert clicking.

It'd be really nice if there was a way to turn off that alert click that happens when a new alert pops up. Hearing it every 30-60 seconds gets really annoying.

I don't know if it's the pitch, or what, but it just drives me nuts.

Yes, I know I'm low on people. No, I don't know why 24 of them just disappeared. Please stop clicking at me.

A drop down list with checkmarks that could be unchecked to hide various alert types. Like in the Anno games. And let us right click the alerts to make them go away. Just like the messages on the left side of the screen.

Also, the button to disable the alert sounds at the upper right corner of the screen does not work for everything if at all.

Furthermore, the alerts on both sides of the screen should be on dialogs that can be hidden or restored with save/restore buttons attached to the dialogs.
