Farms to Greenhouses (Ground status of Dirt is Null for Greenhouses)
The ground that the farm is placed upon doesn't matter when you upgrade to greenhouses.
If you think about it, most greenhouses are built upon concrete. While farms are tilled from the land itself. So if the soil is no longer a factor for growing food, it shouldn't matter where the greenhouse is placed.
Farms need dirt to function.
Greenhouses don't need dirt to function

Peter34But this means that it ought to cost Dirt to construct a Greenhouse, or to upgrade an Irrigated Farm to a Greenhouse. Which I think would be good.

JamieYes. Dirt or Compost should be part of the ingredients. Maybe just Compost to make it a bit harder.
