Some way to deal with Nuclear waste

Currently the main game-killer is Nuclear stage when you are forced to slowly give up your precious space for the Spent Fuel Storages, perhaps there could be some settlement which could accept Spent fuel along with some High-tier "goods"(Vehicle Parts III, Construction Parts IV
and Lab Equipment IV can do it's role) for thier own purposes?

Seems that this is a case where burying it in the ocean in containers is an appropriate way to get rid of it without taking up a lot of space on land.

Realistically, you'd be doing a whoe fuel recycling system. Which honestly sounds like fun to design.
