Intermediate machine between mine digging and ore processing

How it is now: escavators sort out if they digged rock, dirt or ore and wait for the appropriate truck.
The suggestion: let them just dig whatever they find mixed together and load it on the truck, then let a machine separate the mix into rock/dirt/ore with different outputs

There is a machine that grades rock sizes to just Rock/boulders average rock/gravel fine gravel/shingle and finally say sand.
You could have a fun animation with the rocks seen falling down into a sloped shaker/wire grid where the holes get smaller or bigger?
