it can be productions, requiring higher elevation - wind turbines, different crops, elevation as means of pirate defence, maintenance statue can give more bonuses if it placed high, or pops can have demand of some parks with island territory being untouched

ph3rr3t 2.0Just to be clear, we currently have reasons to;
- Level / Flatten - Easier to build / expand,
- Cover with Dirt - Farms need this except for greenhouses,
- Dig / Excavate - Stone for Gravel for Sand, expanding the island's shoreline, & getting deep ores.
You've suggested;
- Raise / Buildup - Wind Turbines have better efficiency the higher they're built, some crops require height to grow,
- Cover with Dirt - Have some parks require dirt / grass like most farms do,
I'd like to add;
- Raise - Slight reduction in fuel if rocket launch is built higher, airports?, radio tower(s), lighthouse(s), lightning rods, telescopes (research),
- Cover with Dirt - Have some things require Trees nearby, which would need dirt / grass to grow on, (requires we can replant trees),
- Dig / Excavate - Buried Relics / science boosters, geothermal power, super-deep-storage, seismic sensors,
There's probably plenty more reasons to raise & lower the terrain.
