More Mining Equipment
As someone that's in the mining industry, it would be cool to have more equipment like dozers for stockpiling and landscaping along with drills and blasting for making loose material that loads faster than when the shovels are digging into the hard face.
Also maybe adding a lube truck to supply the larger mining excavators with oils and grease along with fuel. Graders would be nice touch too to improve roads and speed up travel perhaps.
GOING UNDERGROUNG MINING WOULD BE THE COOLEST. Ability to add portals and shafts with an underground map and underground mining equipment. Would be better for late game if you had to build a lot on top of minerals in the start.

I love this idea! I too work in Surface Mining in RL, and have often thought about more mining equipment in CoI !
-Dozers would add another level of "realism", Dumptrucks would dump in the designated hatching, but leave piles instead of automatically going flat. The dozers would have to "flatten" the piles to achieve design! Dozers could be controlled by mining towers, multiple dozers could be assigned to the same tower! Multiple tiers of dozers to match the trucks! Dozers would need refueling by tanker trucks and fuel stations, just like the excavators!
-Draglines Excavators! I think they could be implemented, even if only in the right condition. They would be large, and their "dumping" of their buckets would be IDENTICAL to how stackers empty their belts! It Could be done!
-Bucketwheel Excavators! Again, would be large, and only usable for the right job! Could connect to conveyor belts that are ALREADY in-game! -

ZealousIdealBlack-Tier 4 Excavators and Heavy Haulers! Possibly and Electric Rope Shovel! For Maximum volume movement!
-Graders are a GREAT idea!! High-traffic routes deteriorate, making the trucks slow down. Graders can be assigned areas and programed to keep the "routes" generated by pathfinder in good condition!
