Inefficiet wood cutting needs to be improved
In my games, I tend to go large. Very large.. However- I have noticed the wood cutting being very inefficient.. The wood cutters roam within the designated wood area not to the next nearest tree when done, but to a tree a long distance away- making them go back and forth, back and forth. Thats why I need a large fleet of tree cutters and tree planters to keep up with the upkeep..
I would say that at least 50 % of the time they can operate they move a long distance to the next tree rather than going to the next nearest tree ready to be cut.
The excavating algoritthm allows to dig the nearest avaliable slot to the mining tower- the same should be set for the Forestry Control Tower

PeStyI don't have a problem with the amount of wood yet.
I have two forestry towers, one larger area, the other smaller.
I don't have any machines assigned to towers.
So cut machines choose trees according to % and planting machine according to free space in area,.
If I select a felling area, area is outside of forestry towers, cut machines move there and then go back to trees in area foresty towers. It works very well for me.
IDEA for Forests Tower
I would appreciate the possibility to choose the type of tree I want to plant, depending on whether grows quickly and gives less wood or grows more slowly and gives more wood.
