why input is limited?

That building can use 2 recipes. It has 3 inputs, but ABLE to accept (join) 5 types of goods + 1 from self production. But it doesn work. Why? Because there is a limit of acceptable resources for one building? If you join 5 belts, it will not take 2nd resourses from belts, however that belt cubes contains 2 types.

tabu1ait seems problem in "cube" connections on the end. it could contain different items, but fabric can use only 1 type from connections.
liquid in tubes work that way, but items dont. sad (
