Conveyor lifts with rotation

Currently conveyor lifts move the product up or down without changing the direction of the belt. It would be great if input and output could be rotated along the vertical axis independently.

Or just a compact (straight) lift which would occupy a single space would suffice.
Another development of "miniature lifts" would be a lift that didn't have any part sticking up and hence would allow stuff to be built directly on top of it.
