Mass upgrade belts / pipes
Would be nice for mid / late game to have a button somewhere that would allow you to mass replace old pipes and belts to later stages (from mk1 to mk2 etc etc).

RawwDo it like dyson sphere program and factorio does it, same as the unpause thing. You select and area to mass upgrade.

DyanosisThey've mentioned in multiple places that their game simulates the real world. There's no button in the real world that supports this idea, so why would it be in a game simulating the real world? I'd just be happy that they have a way to upgrade an entire section of pipe instead of having to click on every pipe piece.

MoffmasterThat's an odd argument. There is also no button to build a blast furnace in real life, yet in the game I have one.
The buttons all assume that you give an order, and skilled people take care of the details and carry out the planning behind the scenes. Telling your engineers to "upgrade all pipes in that grid sector to a higher standard" sounds like a reasonable order to me. -

MoffmasterOh, by the way, "Fortresscraft Evolved" has a feature where you can upgrade a transport belt and all connected belt segments. Maybe we could have a 'select all connected' button for transports, so we can not just upgrade an area, but also one specific belt or pipe system independent of others in the area.
In fact, how about, once that logic is in place, trucks would also be able to tap into it. So when building a pipe with 10 runoffs, instead of delivering 37 material (for the long pipe) and 10x2 material for the runoffs in individual deliveries, the job could be performed by delivering 57 material in one go? Same for deconstructing of course.
