Assigned silo auto dumping

Would it be possible to implement that if you have a mining tower with assigned routes (fx 1 silo slag, 1 silo dirt, 1 silo rock) that you could assign trucks to the tower as permanent dumpers if you have any dump zone designated within the tower area. Been hitting a snag on my current save that if i tell my silos to automatically be empty at all times then the trucks just take the resource back to the first silo (the dumping silo from the mine in my case)

Same here. A bit weird, actually. Sometimes they return it back, sometimes they dump. Would be better if assigned silo set to empty would cause assigned tracks to force dumping contents instead of hauling.

I think an idea here is that maybe a silo that is linked to a mining tower can be locked to only accept output from vehicles assigned to that mining tower. That would prevent circular dumping as well.

Having trucks assigned to specific storages is what you seem to be asking for so only those truck can take from that storage. That might be cool too, kind of like the tree harvester has trucks assigned to it (but the storages wouldn't move ofc).

IMO, it makes a perfect sense that if a silo linked to a mining control tower has export limiter set, then that silo should be used for dumping, not collection. Trucks assigned to mine control tower shall dump stuff from it rather than hauling it to some other silo. Currently it only happens if all other silos are lock-linked to some other towers (only that prevent back-looping). But still, emptying is not carried by tower-assigned trucks - they just ignore a silo marked as keep-empty. Would be better if they do dumping from that silo in that case.

I am not sure to understand. With 2 silo linked, the first keep full no export, and the 2nd keep empty no import, and with truck assigned via the advance logistic stuff, it should work just fine.

Maybe the Mining Towers should have some inventory in the beginning that can only be used for dumping.

I changed my mind on this. I think there should be separate Dumping Towers added to the game.
