Export Business - Ship Yard, Container Ships, Packaging Facilities, & Steam Achievements
I had an idea for adding an Export Business as part of the gameplay.
Components:
Ship Yard - Large space & material requirements to build. Allows you to build 1 or more container ships. Large resource requirements to build each ship and requires multiple unlocks, in both the tech tree and within the Ship Yard itself (similar to how we upgrade our flagship now with engine, weapon and armor upgrades).
Trade Dock/Port - Huge space and material requirements, likely requires land fill/terraforming to create a sufficiently large and flat building space on the coast. Accepts deliveries of "Packaged" goods from within the mainland, potentially from new, specially build, cargo trucks.
Liquid Packaging Plant - Facility that takes marketable liquid products (Oil, Diesel, Heavy Oil, etc.) and packages them for export. Required packaging medium input (potentially Steel Barrels manufactured elsewhere on the island?).
Packing plants for other products.
Steam achievements for export targets.

Chris MergedAdd Achivements into the Game and Steam
Achivements are accomplishments that show how far / how much you have played.
There are the classic ones, which tell something about how much you have produced, e.g. "Mining Coal" 1,000 - 10,000 - 100,000 - 1,000,000
the above can be "ingame" and then you can make some called 10,000,000 and 100,000,000, which are generally for all the time you have played.
This can be done on any resource in the game.
and depending on what your database "logs" - you can also look at consumption and perhaps make some difficult achievements.
I would like to make a presentation for a few hundred achievements if it is. -

JoCKeRILPlease add Achievements soon - at least some goals to reach once player progress can be measured - some of those can be like in Factorio, make a X amount of Y product, launching a rocket (Final goal as of now), reaching population size with unity level, building houses lvl X, research milestones, etc'
P.S. It's not clear why Achievements are in this suggestion thread that only mentioned them briefly in the end, but it's the only one I found so I use it, but I find it hard to vote up due to the other suggestion made in it...
