Building materials yard
I love to see builders yard with bricks, lumber, steel and pipes for example. They could be on pallets with forklifts stockpiling the goods in designated lay-down areas off loading and reloading trucks as required. Taking the construction parts to a new level.

YandersenI personally dislike the generalization of CP in CoI. But if building would cost many multiple materials, it will overload logistics. Therefore I propose the Construction Yard with multiple inputs for various materials (concrete slabs, wood, iron, steel, copper, rubber etc) which works similar to vehicles depot, but the buildings added in queue automatically once they ghostplaced on map. Once assembling complete, the Yard produces "[building_name] construction parts" (no output ports - only truck to pickup from there) that trucks pick and deliver to the construction site. Once required amount of building-unique parts delivered, the building is complete. U can also get parts ready ahead of time by manually adding buildings to the queue to get them available for rapid placement (Yard has capacity limit). Yard can also recycle stored parts - deconstruction brings parts back there for a reverse of this process. Yard is a unique building, but upgradable.
