Need some way to get more sand.

Crushing rocks is a thing, really. Just rock through the crusher - first pass is a crushed rock, second pass - crashed rock into sand.

0.3.11 (experimental) has gravel to sand, but I think having quartz as an alternate would also be good.

I made this suggestion before they added the Gravel to Sand recipe for the Crusher.
