balancer/sorter Item ratios

One of the biggest problems I'm having with conveyor automation is how assemblers (depending on the recipe) will have uneven amounts of materials needed. For example, I'm trying to make maintenance, and I'm bringing both mechanical parts and electrical parts in with 1 conveyor. Using a balancer I can make it bring in 1:1 of each parts, but I need it to do 2:1 ratio of *Mechanical : electrical* in order for the line to not get backed up.

Tldr: Would be wonderful if balancers could have ratio or percentage options to set the amount of each type of item being balanced between it to avoid conveyor lines backing up.

I’m using 2 balancers to solve the exact problem you described. First I do a 1:2 split of mechanical parts. Then I merge 2 mechanical parts with 1 electronics. Turn on the “enforce even input” in the merging balancer and its output is guaranteed 2:1.
