1. Automatic valves. A "Y" shaped valve with input and 2 outputs one of which is closed until the other one can't receive anymore for one of the conditions: different fluid type, full output, storage limit reached
2. Pressure relieve valve for steam pipes. Vents steam that can't pass through (must be connected to a smokestack .

Even just a simple open/closed valve would be hugely beneficial. Being able to balance liquids is nice, but it becomes necessary to turn off flow especially for those of us who do not perfectly min max each production chain.
