Heavy seawater pump powered by a shaft input

A bigger version of the seawater pump that can pull huge amounts of water, but is powered by a mechanical input shaft. You could use it for clever desalination setups, use high-pressure turbines to power the pump and use the steam lo to do the desalination work. It would also eliminate some of the frustration of trying to locate enough placement spots for seawater pumps on a natural coastline, it would have a big exclusivity footprint but you'd only need a few.
