Forced position for supports

It would be nice to have way, how to "force" position of supports for pipes and belts when building. When I need make supports on specific place, in this moment I must break pipe into more parts. As result there is "double support". Yes, I can remove this one piece, but it is irritating. Problem is same like in "Pipe/Conveyor Support Structure Alignment", I need to make pickups and trucks go under pipe bridges.

Very much this, it would be nice if supports were their own entity and could be placed separately, then belts connected to them.
