The ability for The Captain to actually visit buildings or parts of the Island

It could give Morale Boosts, it could give talented workers on the island the opportunity to present unconventional ideas to the Captain himself, which could give some form of upgrade, etc.
Or essentially it could bring short range or long range events and challenges. It would be optional of course, not taking on these wouldn't mean a negative outcome, it would be just a delicacy. Yet actually taking on these events/challenges could have negative outcomes, too.
