mining and dumping designation tool

the mining tool is currently 4x4 sq i would like to see it able to be brought down to 2x2 or 1sq so certain areas can be cleaned up easily in the event of a spill. as you can see in the photo i cannot clear the debris from the edge of this retaining wall without re-mining the area to the left of it and removing the retaining wall to flatten the ground back out.
