Increase the max transport placement lenght to have equally spaced pillars.

Max distance between pillars is 8 squares, not counting the pillars. But the max distance you can place a transport at a time is 3.5 spaces like that, so the last pillars have a distance of 4 between them. This way you have to manually "back-track" the placement to the full third segment before placing if you want equal spacing. In the image you can see manual placement conscious to only reach the three 8-tile lengths and the quick shift-click placing at maximum range.
