Standardize station parts construction

Hi Captains!
Can I suggest to make space station parts construction chain like for other products that to make an advaced version (in this case "yellow" space parts) you need previous version ("white" parts)?
example construction parts that red parts need yellow to be created.
In this way we can "recycle" previous parts when moved to advanced parts.
