Quarry (cantera)
Mining is now either larger or deeper because new machinery is needed, as in the Minecraft BuildCraft (Quarry) mod. What is a Quarry? It's a block that, when powered, scans an area, builds a support frame, and deploys a mining head (a drill) that destroys block by block from the surface down to bedrock. How does it work? (Step by step) Demarcation: By default, it mines a 9x9 block area. If you want a larger area (up to 64x64), you must use Land Marks to mark the corners before placing the Quarry. Construction: Once placed and powered, the machine will send up an orange robotic arm to clear the area of existing blocks and then build a frame of yellow and black pipes. Mining: The drill head will begin mining. The collected blocks are ejected from the top of the Quarry. Key requirements: Power: It runs on power. Speed: The more power you provide, the faster the drill will move. Note: Be careful with the lava and water
