Modular ramps

Instead of the unsightly ramps, modular ramps would be preferable, as they would have fewer height limitations.
In some cases, various hollow building blocks could then be constructed underground to house conveyor belts, rails, pipes, etc. This would greatly increase construction possibilities.

I see potential here for new research in the late game.
