Alternate household goods recipe. We use plastic for a lot of things in current society, but relatively little in captain of industry. Mostly electronics and medical supply. For household goods, it makes sense to me that some things could be plastic instead of wood. I have more plastic than wood in my actual apartment. Consuming plastic, steel, and glass feels like a comparable cost and would also let players reduce or eliminate wood usage if they wanted to, a new niche.

MunkI think even if it stays as wood we should be able to recycle out wood chippings from the scrap created from this. Perhaps a production option of having wood that can be recycled or plastic which is cheaper to produce but creates no recyclables and more waste instead.
