Depleted Resource 'Layers' Display

A deplete resource, especially crude, should no longer be displayed within the 'Layers' (L) display for THAT material (or other such depleted material(s)) location(s). This has not been a problem (for me) with other products. Yes, toggle off works fine (for all of that item), but (say 3 locations of crude) if one location becomes depleted, then only 2 should be displayed in the (toggled on) 'Layers' display of the crude locations...
