Now, with the emergence of island maps and bridges, we urgently need to establish cross-sea pipelines, allowing offshore excavators to have a place to be useful, and to build underwater pipelines for the transportation of materials between islands.

I would also say that the pipes should be able to attach to the bridges, or allow them to be buried underwater, but the amphibious excavators would need to be able to dig a little deeper then they are able to currently.
