Thermal Storage suggestion.
It took 30 years to charge HS (TES). And longer to charge the (LS) (TES) to the point of no charge 18%charge in 30 years. When charging had to have the 5th boiler on boost. But tear four pipes unless doubled could not handle 480 steams.
Please change default power consumption for thermal storage to 100Kw or 30Kw. For the low steam recipe, a -X2 power consumption. High steam power consumption as X2 power with 200Kw at 100Kw. Super steam should be a X4 power consumption with double heat storage capacity. Reduce maintenance to 0.1 and manning by half to two people and default priority to 5 as its a storage. And a do not discharge out of ports past this point slider for the heat like other storages. Water should remain fine.
New math for charging E%= ((Steam stored “Heat”) divided by -1000). E% +(baseline daily steam lost of 4%) = F. When F = New daily rate lost from current model of 4 should be a 1. The same formula for charging of E% = ((steam store ”Heat”) divided by -1000). E% + (Baseline steam lost of 10% when charging) = F%. F= New steam rate steam lost when charging. Once fully charged there should be a cap of no steam lost when working when charging. This should shorten the charge time in cases.
It’s a small molten salt thermal energy storage unit. I do not have high investment in them. Like a dual TES that would be a total collapse of steam. No gains at all to charge. Mechanical storage reduced to one was tested and ok but remained about the same and the issue is in steam as steam is exact and the charge rate. Old snap shot as I restored the water return line to pass though all the storages and loop back to the return.

MagermhMaybe that math is little wrong but should be a (%Heat stored) divided by negative 1000 = 4% -3% being 1% loss. For heat lost a day. For the charging cycle I was mathing it off the low steam. High steam should have 6000 divided by negative 1000 = %F divided by 2 . And super would require better math %F being divided by 2.4. Sorry about that not much space for words.

MagermhThermal storage working as intended. Do not make any math changes as is please. This has to set in for a long time I see. Well done on the 10% changes. It still takes a long time to charge.

MagermhI have not read anything on the bug in switching steam outputs for thermal storages. But the are storage that use brick, sand, and the molten salt may take nitrogen to reduce physical decay.
