Translations for Mods (API & Website)
I think that translations should be extended to mods as well. It should become possible to provide or translate mods to other languages.
This suggestion was created because of the conversation in the forums for a chinese mod I was looking into using here:

The OP asked for a english version of the mod and the author rebutted that they wanted chinese versions as a trade, which I think is a fair ask. I think to encourage the growth of COI and honestly its amazing to see such modding community support internationally so early on, it should be encouraged!
As a player of this amazing game I want to benefit from even more mods outside of my language comfort, and likewise I want captains outside of my own language like this chinese author to be able to enjoy what other captains are creating.

wtmxhyy工业巨头应该开放一个api,使得我们可以在mod中实现语言国际化,而这是共同的事,不是mod作者的事.
根据我对相关著作权以及相关版权的争议进行的法律咨询获知,使用社区的keep协议时,即使进行其他语言的国际化操作,实际上也将会有法律风险.有鉴于此,我只能很遗憾表示除非其他mod作者能够实现中文化,否则我很难率先制作英文版.
实际开发过程中,首先必然开发的是英文版,然后才会写成中文,对于代码来说英文用来编写,中文用来显示.而实际就是编辑器都是英文版的所以英文更加友好,而我们可以看到有来自不同国家的不同语言的玩家,我接触过俄罗斯,日本,巴西的玩家,他们都希望有自己语言的版本,甚至有的国家和地区玩家需要使用其他国家母语来替代方可游戏.
实现国际化实际上并不复杂,至少从代码层面来说不难,然而难的是统一口径,使得所有人都遵守同样准则.
即使我们浏览官方网站也需要借助翻译器,实际上游戏官方还未能全面实现国际化,游戏中迄今依然还是存在很多外文的.当然我们也可以看出官方一直在用开放的态度进行逐步的改进,我们拭目以待.
